Hanwha Qcells Receives 8th Consecutive PVEL Top Performer Accolade Along With EUPD Research and n-tv Life & Living Awards

Hanwha Solutions Qcells Division (Hanwha Qcells), a leading global provider of completely clean energy, announced it has been recognized as a Top Performer in the PV Evolution Labs (PVEL) PV Module Reliability Scorecard 2023. This marks the eighth consecutive year in which Hanwha Qcells has earned such an esteemed ranking.

PVEL is an industry-leading independent laboratory, and its Reliability Scorecard is widely regarded as a benchmark for solar module performance. PVEL samples and tests solar modules from top manufacturers as part of its Product Qualification Program (PQP), using the results as a guideline for its annual PV Module Reliability Scorecard.

Hanwha Qcells has consistently secured Top Performer recognition for its Q.PEAK DUO module series, which are manufactured with the company’s proprietary Q.ANTUM Technology. The modules are designed to ensure premium power output over their 25-year warranty and were also the first in the industry to pass TÜV Rheinland’s new standard-raising Quality Controlled PV (QCPV) certification program, the most extensive and stringent standard in the PV industry to date.

The Top Brand PV 2023 seal further cements Hanwha Qcells’ reputation for trust and reliability in the PV markets of Europe and the U.S. Companies that are awarded this seal must garner an excellent score in EUPD Research’s Global PV InstallerMonitor survey, which compiles feedback and opinions from thousands of participating solar installers worldwide.

Particularly in Germany, a major PV market in Europe, Hanwha Qcells solidified its positive brand presence. German consumers have voted Hanwha Qcells as the top solar technology brand in the 2023 n-tv Life & Living Award for the fourth year running. The award is based on one of Germany’s leading customer satisfaction surveys, which polls more than 50,000 consumers for their opinion on 650 companies or brands active in the country.

Germany’s residential solar market boomed in 2022, growing 52% in size compared to 2021, with more than 200,000 new home solar systems added to rooftops, according to the Bundesnetzagentur and the German Solar Association (BSW).
