- Hanwha Q CELLS GmbH Hanwha Q CELLS hits the road in Germany to promote Q.PARTNER program
Hanwha Q CELLS EU marketing team recently embarked on a roadshow across the German cities of Muenster, Soltau, Thalheim, Pforzheim, and Ausburg, to promote Q.PARTNER program.
The marketing teams road trip was part of a recruiting push to expand Hanwha Q CELLS roster of partner solar suppliers and installers as the company prepares for the wide release of the Q.HOME Cloud and Q.ENERGY smart energy solutions. During the trip, 175 Q.PARTNER members came out to get hands-on experience of those upcoming products as well as the Q.HOME+ energy storage solution.
Under the Q.PARTNER program, participating businesses receive training and marketing material on Hanwha Q CELLS extensive portfolio of solar energy products so that they may promote the benefits of choosing Hanwha Q CELLS to their own customers. There are currently more than 1000 Q.PARTNER members in the EU, with that number steadily rising.
On the back of this successful roadshow, the Hanwha Q CELLS EU marketing team plans on hitting other German cities throughout the first half of 2019.

- Hanwha Total Petrochemical awards scholarships to local students from Seosan city
Hanwha Total Petrochemical held its annual Regional Talent Scholarship Ceremony for incoming university freshmen at its flagship Daesan production facility in Chungnam Province, Korea. 20 graduating high school seniors from the city of Seosan received USD 53 thousand in scholarships from Hanwha Total Petrochemical on the recommendation of their teachers.
Kwon Hyung-wook, CEO of Hanwha Total Petrochemical, was on hand to personally present the students with their scholarships. He also congratulated them for all their hard work and wished them well, adding that there were many exciting new opportunities awaiting them in the future.
Hanwha Total Petrochemical has been handing out scholarships every year since 2013. The program was established to encourage high school students in Seosan to excel in their studies and be accepted into top universities, so they can go on to represent their hometown through their academic achievements.

- Hanwha Techwins pioneering camera wins gold at ASTORS Homeland Security Awards
Hanwha Techwins Wisenet PNM-9000VQ multi-sensor camera recently won the gold award for “Best IP Video Surveillance Solution” at the ASTORS Homeland Security Awards for its unique four-lensed design that allows the camera to continuously monitor in all directions with zero blind spots.
The ASTORS Awards is a prestigious industry award handed out annually by American Security Today, a digital publication that presents its audience with the latest news about security products and technologies.
The PNM-9000VQ is a pioneering omni-directional camera design that received wide acclaim and attention when it was first released. Through a single installation, the camera offers four simultaneous security feeds, providing customers with a flexible and customizable surveillance solution that is ideal for monitoring large and busy spaces such as airports and shopping centers. Customers can choose between 2MP and 5MP sensor modules that are easily exchangeable and can also choose to mix and match from a variety of lens options to best meet their needs.
