- Hanwha Energy Retail Australia Pty Ltd Pop the Champers! Nectr Celebrates First Anniversary in Australia
Nectr, part of Hanwha Energy Australia, is celebrating its first year of operations. In that time, the company has rapidly grown its customer base by offering affordable and renewable energy products in New South Wales and Queensland. Building on this success, Nectr will expand its business into South Australia in the near future.
Nectrs strong growth is driven by products such as Nectr Friends Clean Solar, which provides carbon offsets equal to the amount of energy consumed, and Nectr GreenPower, which is 100% clean energy. These products and the companys Climate Active and Carbon Neutral certifications make Nectr one of only four Australian energy retailers that provide 100% carbon neutral energy plans.
Also, Hanwha Energy Australia is well into development of the Gregadoo and Jindera solar farms, which will eventually provide power to over 60,000 Nectr customers. Construction for these farms is expected to commence soon.

Despite market headwinds in 2020, Hanwha Life Vietnam worked hard to maintain its growth momentum. The company posted USD 13 million in profits, marking the first time it was profitable for two years running.
